DeskFlow is a general wellness app, not a medical device. It doesn't provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it doesn't replace a health professional.
1. Agreement
In short: By using DeskFlow, you accept these Terms. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy.
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Kuantis (“we”, “us”) about your use of the DeskFlow app for Android and this website. By installing or using DeskFlow, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle data.
You must be old enough to accept these Terms where you live. DeskFlow is designed for adults (see Children in the Privacy Policy).
2. Who we are
DeskFlow is developed by Kuantis, based in Colombia. Contact: kuantis.dev@gmail.com.
3. Your license
In short: You can use DeskFlow on your own devices for personal purposes. We keep the rights to the app.
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to download, install and use DeskFlow on Android devices you own or control, for your personal use, in line with these Terms and Google Play's terms. The app is licensed, not sold. We and our licensors keep all rights in DeskFlow, including its name, logo, design, texts and code. Open-source components included in the app are licensed under their own licenses.
4. Acceptable use
In short: Use DeskFlow fairly and lawfully.
You agree not to:
- copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent or sublicense the app;
- reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble it, except where the law allows it despite this restriction;
- bypass or interfere with ads, purchases, rewarded-video checks or security features;
- use bots, emulators, scripts or other automated means to generate ad views, clicks or rewards;
- use the app in a way that breaks the law or harms others;
- remove copyright, trademark or other notices.
5. Health disclaimer
In short: DeskFlow is a general wellness app, not a medical device, and it doesn't give medical advice.
DeskFlow is a general wellness app for healthy habits at work. It isn't a medical device and doesn't provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
- Suggestions such as water goals, coffee and caffeine timing, breaks, exercises, eye rest and step goals are general and may not suit everyone.
- Talk to a health professional before changing your habits if you have a medical condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, take medication or are sensitive to caffeine. Stop any exercise that causes pain, dizziness or discomfort.
- Don't rely on DeskFlow for anything critical, such as taking medication, and never ignore or delay professional advice because of something in the app.
- Data from Health Connect (steps and sleep) comes from your devices and other apps and may be incomplete or inaccurate.
- In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.
6. Reminders and availability
In short: We work to keep DeskFlow reliable, but we can't guarantee every reminder or feature at all times.
- Reminders depend on your phone's settings (notifications, exact alarms and battery optimization) and on Android itself, so we can't guarantee that every reminder arrives on time.
- Health Connect, ads and purchases depend on Google services and on your device and Android version, and may not be available everywhere.
- We may update, change, suspend or remove features, and we may stop offering DeskFlow. When a change significantly affects paid features, we'll give reasonable notice where possible.
- Your data is stored only on your phone. We don't have a copy, so we can't recover data you delete or lose, for example after a factory reset without a backup.
7. Premium and subscriptions
In short: Premium is optional. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them in Google Play; the lifetime option is a one-time payment.
- What it is: DeskFlow Premium is optional. It removes ads and unlocks the extra features described in the app.
- Plans: monthly and yearly auto-renewing subscriptions, and a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app and in Google Play in your local currency and may include taxes as required where you live.
- Billing: payment is charged to your Google Play account when you confirm the purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period, at the price then in effect, unless you cancel before the renewal date. Google Play notifies price changes according to its policies and the law and, in some cases, asks for your consent first.
- Free trials and introductory offers: if we offer them, their terms are shown before you buy. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the paid subscription starts automatically.
- Lifetime: a single payment gives you access to Premium features without recurring charges for as long as we offer and support DeskFlow, on the Google account used for the purchase. Features may evolve over time.
- Restoring: use Settings → Restore purchases with the same Google account, for example after reinstalling the app or changing phones.
8. Cancellation and refunds
In short: Cancel in Google Play at any time. Refunds follow Google Play's policies and the law.
- How to cancel: in the Google Play app, tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → DeskFlow → Cancel subscription. Uninstalling DeskFlow doesn't cancel your subscription. After you cancel, Premium stays active until the end of the period you already paid for. See Google's help: Cancel, pause, or change a subscription on Google Play.
- Refunds: purchases are processed by Google Play, and refunds are handled under Google Play's refund policies. You can request a refund through Google Play, and you can also contact us and we'll review your request.
- Your legal rights: nothing in these Terms limits the rights you have under the consumer protection laws where you live, such as statutory withdrawal or refund rights.
9. Ads and rewarded videos
In short: The free version shows ads. Rewarded videos are optional, and their rewards have no cash value.
- The free version shows ads provided by Google AdMob. We don't control the content of third-party ads; if you see an inappropriate ad, let us know.
- Rewarded videos are optional and only start when you tap. Currently, 3 videos unlock each CSV report download; 3 videos unlock the smartwatch (Health Connect) connection once on your device; and 1 video unlocks certain Premium features for 24 hours.
- A video counts only if you watch it to the end. Progress on partly completed unlocks may expire after a while. Videos aren't always available, because this depends on Google's ad inventory.
- Rewards have no cash value and can't be transferred or exchanged. They're saved on your device, so they may be lost if you clear DeskFlow's data or uninstall the app.
- We may change the number of videos or the rewards in future versions. Changes won't take away rewards you've already earned.
10. Third-party services
DeskFlow works with services from other companies, such as Google Play, Health Connect, Google AdMob and RevenueCat. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to your use of those services, and we aren't responsible for them. Downloads and purchases are also governed by the Google Play Terms of Service.
11. Intellectual property and feedback
DeskFlow, its logo and its content belong to Kuantis or its licensors. Google Play, Android and Health Connect are trademarks of Google LLC; other names may be trademarks of their respective owners. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them freely, without any obligation to you.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
In short: Apart from the guarantees the law gives you, DeskFlow is provided “as is”.
To the extent permitted by law, DeskFlow is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted or error-free operation. Some countries don't allow these exclusions; in that case they don't apply to you, and you keep any guarantees the law gives you, for example statutory guarantees under EU or UK consumer law or the Australian Consumer Law.
13. Limitation of liability
In short: Our liability is limited as far as the law allows, but never for things the law doesn't let us exclude.
To the extent permitted by law:
- we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, revenue or goodwill;
- our total liability for any claim related to DeskFlow is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for DeskFlow Premium in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim, or USD 50 (or the equivalent in your currency).
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that can't be excluded or limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for gross negligence or willful misconduct, or your rights as a consumer under mandatory law. If you're a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, we're responsible for foreseeable loss and damage caused by our breach of these Terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill; we aren't responsible for loss or damage that wasn't foreseeable.
14. Termination
You can stop using DeskFlow at any time by uninstalling it (remember to cancel any subscription in Google Play). We may suspend or end your license if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, for example by abusing rewards or ads. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability and governing law, survive termination.
15. Governing law and disputes
In short: Colombian law applies, without prejudice to the consumer protections where you live. Before any claim, write to us and give us 30 days to solve it. There's no arbitration, and the class-action waiver applies only where the law allows it.
- Governing law: these Terms are governed by the laws of Colombia, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules and without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection rights of your country of residence. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods doesn't apply.
- Informal resolution first: before starting any claim or legal proceeding related to DeskFlow, you agree to email us at kuantis.dev@gmail.com describing the problem and what you're asking for, and to give us 30 days to try to resolve it informally. We'll do the same before taking any action against you. Where the law allows, limitation periods are suspended during those 30 days. This step doesn't stop you from contacting a consumer protection or data protection authority at any time.
- Courts and small claims: if we can't resolve the dispute, either of us may take it to the competent courts. If you're a consumer, you can always bring claims in the courts of your place of residence where the law allows. Either of us may also bring an individual claim in a small-claims court (or its equivalent in your country) if the claim qualifies.
- No arbitration: nothing in these Terms requires you to resolve disputes through binding arbitration.
- Class-action waiver: to the extent permitted by applicable law, claims must be brought individually, and not as a plaintiff or class member in a class, collective or representative action. This waiver doesn't apply where the law prohibits it or makes it unenforceable, for example for consumers in the European Union, in Colombia and in other countries whose consumer-protection laws don't allow it; there, you keep any right to collective or representative actions that the law gives you.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms, for example when we change the app or the law changes. We'll publish the new version with its date and, for significant changes, let you know in the app or on this website before they take effect. Changes don't apply retroactively. If you keep using DeskFlow after the changes take effect, you accept the new Terms; if you don't agree, stop using the app and cancel any subscription.
17. General
- Entire agreement: these Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about DeskFlow.
- Severability: if a court finds part of these Terms invalid, the rest stays in effect.
- No waiver: if we don't enforce a right, we don't give it up.
- Transfer: we may transfer these Terms to whoever takes over DeskFlow, with notice to you and without reducing your rights. You can't transfer your rights under these Terms.
- Translations: these Terms are available in English and español. If the versions differ, the English version prevails, unless your local law requires otherwise.
