Estandartes terms and conditions of use
Effective October 24, 2026 · Last updated: November 4, 2026 · Version 2.1 (adds the site's voluntary donations)
The essentials
- You can play Estandartes for free, for personal and non-commercial use.
- The game is in development: it may have bugs and change with updates.
- Your saved games are stored only on your phone: if you delete them, they are lost.
- From version 0.7.1 the game has child-appropriate ads. Later there will be a one-time purchase to remove the ones that appear on their own.
- Nothing in these terms takes away the rights the law of your country gives you as a consumer.
1. Acceptance
These terms are an agreement between you and Kuantis ("we", "us"), which develops and publishes the Estandartes game for Android. By installing or using the game you accept these terms and the privacy policy. If you don't agree, don't use the game and uninstall it.
By downloading the game you also accept the Google Play terms, which apply to the download and to payments.
2. Who can play
Estandartes is suitable for everyone. If you are a minor under the law of your country, you need permission from your parent or guardian to use the game and, once they exist, to make purchases. They are responsible for supervising the use of the game and for purchases made from their account or phone, as permitted by the law of their country.
3. Your license to use the game
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to install and use the game on devices you control, only for your personal entertainment and for non-commercial purposes. The game is licensed, not sold: the license does not give you ownership of the game or any part of it.
4. What is not allowed
Unless the law expressly allows it even though these terms prohibit it, you may not:
- copy, sell, rent, sublicense or distribute the game or parts of it;
- decompile, reverse engineer or extract its code, art, music or data;
- modify the game, create derivative versions, or use cheats, programs or mods that give an advantage in 1 vs 1;
- avoid or disable the ads or the purchase protections by unauthorized means;
- use the game for anything illegal, to harm other people or to attack networks or devices;
- use the Estandartes name, logo or art as if they were yours, or in a way that suggests you are related to us.
5. Intellectual property
The game, its name, logo, art, music, texts, code and design belong to Kuantis or to those who licensed them to us, and are protected by intellectual property laws. We let you use them only under these terms; everything we don't expressly grant you is reserved.
The game uses the Unity engine and third-party software under their own licenses, which you can see in Third-party licenses.
If you send us ideas, suggestions or feedback, you allow us to use them to improve the game, with no obligation to pay you for them.
6. Your maps and what you share
The maps you create with the map editor are yours. We don't receive or publish them. If you share them with other people, you are responsible for what you share and for making sure it doesn't break the law or anyone's rights. If you send us a map or a file so we can look into a bug, you allow us to use it only for that purpose.
7. 1 vs 1 over WiFi
1 vs 1 connects your phone directly with another person's phone on your local network. We don't control other players or the networks you use. Play with people you trust and on trusted networks. If a player disconnects, the game may continue with the computer in their place. We don't guarantee the mode works on every network, because some networks block connections between devices.
8. Ads and the "Remove ads" purchase
From version 0.7.1 the game has ads; it does not have purchases yet. The following applies:
- Ads. The game shows third-party ads (Google AdMob), only suitable for all audiences and non-personalized: optional rewarded ads, a banner on the main menu and, sometimes, a full-screen ad when you return to the menu. Never during a match. Ad rewards are only for the match: they have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged or transferred. We are not responsible for the content of the ads or for the products they offer; if you see an inappropriate one, let us know at kuantis.dev@gmail.com.
- What the purchase includes. "Remove ads" is a one-time payment that removes the ads that appear on their own in the game. If the game offers optional ads in exchange for a reward, they will remain optional: you will only see them if you choose to.
- Price and payment. The price is shown on Google Play before you buy, including the taxes of your country. The payment is processed by Google Play under its terms; we do not receive your payment details.
- Your purchase stays with you. The purchase is linked to your Google account. If you reinstall the game or change phones with the same account, you can restore it.
- Refunds. Refunds are governed by the Google Play refund policies and by the rights the law of your country gives you. If you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have 14 days to withdraw from the purchase, unless you asked for the content to be activated immediately and accepted that you lose this right as a result.
- If the problem is ours. If the purchase doesn't work because of a bug in the game, write to us: we will fix it or help you request a refund.
Voluntary donations. On this site you can buy us a coffee through Buy Me a Coffee. It is voluntary, it is for adults or people with their permission, it buys nothing in the game and gives no advantage, and it is governed by that service's terms. Kuantis is not a charity.
9. Saved games
Your saved games, settings and maps are stored only on your phone. We don't have copies. They can be lost if you uninstall the game, clear its data, change phones without a backup or the phone fails. 1 vs 1 matches are not saved. Updates try to open saved games from earlier versions, but we can't always guarantee it.
10. Updates and changes to the game
The game is in active development. We may update it, change or rebalance its rules, add or remove features, and stop supporting older Android versions. We may also stop offering the game; if we do, we will give reasonable advance notice when possible. Some updates may be needed to keep using the game or 1 vs 1 (both phones must have the same version).
11. Health warning
Some people may experience dizziness, seizures or fainting when exposed to lights or moving images, even with no prior history. If you or a child in your care feel dizziness, eye discomfort, involuntary movements or disorientation, stop playing and see a doctor. Play in a well-lit room, at a comfortable distance from the screen, and take a few minutes' break every hour.
12. Historical content
The civilizations, characters, symbols and events in the game are freely inspired by history, for entertainment purposes. They are not meant to be accurate or to represent or offend any people, culture or religion.
13. Warranty
We do our best for the game to work well, but it is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by the law of your country, we do not guarantee that it will work without errors or interruptions, that it will work on every phone or network, or that it will be fit for a particular purpose.
This does not affect the legal guarantees you are entitled to as a consumer that cannot be waived by contract.
14. Liability
To the extent permitted by the law of your country:
- we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, such as loss of saved games or data, loss of profits or non-material damage, arising from the use of the game;
- our total liability to you for any claim related to the game will not exceed what you paid us for the game in the 12 months before the claim.
Nothing here limits our liability where the law does not allow it to be limited, for example for intentional misconduct or gross negligence, for death or personal injury, or for the rights given to you by the consumer protection law of your country.
15. End of the license
You can stop using the game at any time by uninstalling it. If you seriously breach these terms, your license ends and you must stop using the game. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as intellectual property, warranty, liability and governing law) remain in effect afterwards.
16. Governing law and complaints
If you have a problem with the game, please write to us first at kuantis.dev@gmail.com: we will try to resolve it with you within 30 days. This does not prevent you from going to the authorities sooner if the law of your country allows it.
These terms are governed by the laws of the country where you live. You can bring your complaint before the consumer protection authorities or the courts of your country. We do not ask you to waive any right or any court that your law grants you.
17. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms, for example when we add ads and purchases or when the law changes. We will publish the new version on this page with its date. If the change is significant, we will announce it in the game or on the Google Play listing before it takes effect. If you keep using the game afterwards, you are deemed to accept the new terms, to the extent permitted by the law of your country. If you don't accept them, you can stop using the game.
18. General provisions
- If a court finds any part of these terms invalid, the rest remains in effect.
- If we don't enforce a right at some point, it doesn't mean we waive it.
- These terms, together with the privacy policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the game.
- We may transfer these terms if the game passes to another person or company, as long as your rights are not reduced.
- These terms are also available in Spanish. If the versions differ, the Spanish version prevails, unless the law of your country provides otherwise.
